Honda Montesa enters a new phase in the world of X-Trial with the launch of an innovative electric project, reinforcing its commitment to the discipline and to technological development. The team will compete with the new RTL Electric, marking Honda Montesa’s first step with an electric motorcycle in top-level trial competition.

The project is based on the development carried out in the Japanese Championship, where the RTL Electric achieved three victories in three competitive appearances. This work laid the foundations for its arrival in Trial2, demonstrating the bike’s potential in indoor trial. The initiative forms part of Honda’s wider strategy to achieve carbon neutrality, with electrification playing a key role in the future of two-wheeled competition.
