Toni Bou to debut his new world title in Tarragona

The World Champion will debut his twentieth individual crown at the Caixabank Tarraco Arena season finale

The X-Trial season finale, set to take place at the Caixabank Tarraco Arena on April 18 starting at 18:00, will be the event where Toni Bou (Repsol Honda Trial Team) competes as the Individual World Champion after securing his twentieth title in Chalon-sur-Saône on March 6.

Bou will aim for his eighth victory of the current season just 80 kilometers far from his birthplace of Piera, where he will be joined by family and friends, alongside thousands of fans who won’t want to miss the performance of this global sports legend and the battle for the final win of 2026. A victory for the World Champion would bring him to the brink of making history once again, as a win in Tarragona would mark his 99th victory in the World Championship.

In fact, the Repsol Honda Trial Team rider already knows what it means to win at the Caixabank Tarraco Arena. It was on November 6, 2010, when he claimed victory in the Spanish Indoor Championship event held at this modern, multifunctional venue. On that occasion, Albert Cabestany and Adam Raga joined him on the podium, and the win helped consolidate what would become his second Spanish Championship title.

However, 2010 was not the last time Bou visited the Tarraco Arena. He returned in 2016 alongside his then teammates Jaime Busto and Takahisa Fujinami for an exhibition that also featured Marc Márquez and Dani Pedrosa.

On his return on the 18th, his goal is clear: to close the season with another victory and celebrate his newly secured title with his fans.
