The X-Trial's return to Italy already has its protagonists

Ponte di Legno now knows the riders who will compete in the fourth and fifth rounds of the season

The return of the FIM X-Trial World Championship to Italy after more than a decade already has its confirmed protagonists. They will compete at the Palasport in Ponte di Legno on December 12th and 13th, with two consecutive rounds taking place in this Lombardy venue.  

Local representation will come from the experienced Matteo Grattarola (Beta) and the young Francesco Titli (TRRS). Grattarola’s best result so far this season has been a sixth place, while Titli competed in the first two rounds and finished fifth in his debut in Andorra la Vella.  

Meanwhile, Jack Peace (Sherco) will contest his third event of the season after Andorra la Vella and Saint-Denis. In Réunion, he finished fifth after securing fourth place in Q1.   T

hey will be joined by the three riders who have occupied all podium positions so far this year: World Champion Toni Bou (Repsol Honda Trial Team), who currently leads the provisional standings; Jaime Busto (GasGas); and Gabriel Marcelli (Repsol Honda Trial Team); as well as young Harry Hemingway (Beta) and France’s electric-powered representative, Benoit Bincaz (Electric Motion).
