Mempör adds a new nationality to the list of participants in the 2026 World Championship
The final round of an exceptional 2026 season, which will take place at the Caixabank Tarraco Arena next Saturday, April 18, starting at 18:00, has now confirmed its eight protagonists and introduces the fifth nationality among this season’s participants. Austria will be represented by Marco Mempör (TRRS).
Mempör will be competing in his first and only World Championship event of the season. So far, he has only participated in the two races held in his home country (Wiener Neudstadt) in 2023 and 2025.
The Austrian will be joined by Arnau Farré (Sherco), who has already competed this season in Madrid and Barcelona, as well as young Italian rider Francesco Titli (Montesa), who has participate in the rounds held in Andorra la Vella, Madrid, and both days in Ponte di Legno.
As usual, and in accordance with the regulations for the second half of the season, the three aforementioned riders will join those currently occupying the top five positions. Toni Bou (Repsol Honda Trial Team) arrives at the X-Trial Costa Daurada having just secured his 20th X-Trial World Championship title, alongside his teammate Gabriel Marcelli (Repsol Honda Trial Team) and Jaime Busto (Beta). The latter two riders are still battling for the World Championship runner-up position. They are joined by Harry Hemingway (Beta), the breakout rider of the season, and Italian Matteo Grattarola (Beta). Three different nationalities are represented in the Championship’s Top 5, which will bring the season to a close on the shores of the Mediterranean.
