The Event Riders for X-Trial Rennes have been announced as Miquel Gelabert, Toby Martyn and Jeroni Fajardo
These three riders will join the Championship’s five permanent riders for the second round of the season which will be held at the Glaz Arena on Saturday 23rd November.
Miquel Gelabert (Vertigo) was the last of the trio to book his place after finishing as the best Event Rider at X-Trial La Réunion, where he finished fourth after contesting the Runner-up Final with team mate Jaime Busto who accompanied Toni Bou and Adam Raga on the podium.
Toby Martyn (Beta) participated in last season’s X-Trial of Nations for Great Britain and took third place alongside Jack Price. Just 19 years old, the Truro-born rider is one of the future stars of British trial.
Jeroni Fajardo returns to a Championship in which he has been one of the outstanding men in recent seasons and does so with a new mount. The Spaniard is now a Sherco rider after recently leaving Gas Gas.
