The fourth round of the season and the debut of the FIM Women's X-Trial Trophy have their protagonists
The fourth event of the FIM X-Trial World Championship, set to take place at Palau Sant Jordi on February 2 at 5:00 PM, has confirmed its eight riders.
Aniol Gelabert (TRRS) will compete in the "cathedral" for his first event of 2025, following his participation in last season’s rounds in Barcelona and Andorra la Vella. This will mark Aniol’s tenth appearance in an X-Trial World Championship event, with his best results being two fourth-place finishes in 2023.
While this will be the younger Gelabert brother’s first event of the year, Beta riders Matteo Grattarola and Harry Hemingway will enter their second. The Italian debuted in Clermont-Ferrand, while the Brit started his campaign in Chambéry.
Joining them will be the top five riders in the provisional Championship standings: Toni Bou (Repsol Honda Trial Team), Jaime Busto (GasGas), Adam Raga (Sherco), Gabriel Marcelli (Repsol Honda Trial Team), and Benoit Bincaz (Sherco).
Barcelona will also host the debut of the FIM Women’s X-Trial Trophy. Competing in this first event of the season will be Spainish rider Berta Abellán (Scorpa), Italian Andrea Sofia Rabino (Beta), French Naomi Monnier (Montesa), Great Britain’s Alice Minta (Beta), and the Czech Republic’s Denisa Pechakova (TRRS).
All of them will aim to shine in the most prestigious event in the X-Trial world.
