The Palacio Municipal de Deportes San Pablo has a capacity of 7,626, which can be increased up to 10,250. It was constructed in 1987 and was subject to an extension in 1991.
Since the 1980s, the facility has housed competitions of the highest level such as the World Indoor Athletics Championship, including Rhythmic Gymnastics, Basketball and Handball, as well as various European and Spanish Championship events in these disciplines.
The arena is also renowned as a multi-purpose centre within the Andalusian capital, combining world-class sporting events with shows for spectators of all ages, including various types of concerts.
The Real Betis Energía Plus team played home games in the Endesa Spanish Basketball League at the Palacio Municipal de Deportes San Pablo.
