X-Trial Ponte di Legno

The X-Trial World Championship returns to Italy, this time to the town of Ponte di Legno and its Palasport venue—a multifunctional facility that has already hosted World Champion Toni Bou, who took part in a showcase event there in early September 2024 alongside Italian rider Matteo Grattarola.  

Skiing is the main seasonal activity in this town of around 2,000 residents, located in the province of Brescia, in the Lombardy region.  

The Palasport is the town’s indoor sports facility and hosts all kinds of events. In terms of sporting activities, figure skating competitions are the most frequent. Meanwhile, outdoor Trial has also had a strong presence in the area, with rounds of both the Italian Championship and the World Championship, which visited in 2022.
